Slash Fun in the Georgia Snow

Post by aeiou »

Believe it or not, the light snow and ice here in Georgia Thursday night closed the schools yesterday, so I just had to take some time off to entertain the boy.  We get snow here maybe once a year – if that – and it's never much - but we take advantage of it when it comes.

Cool Paul! We got some white stuff here too. Everyone here freaked out with the local new hyping it all up. The interstate through downtown is still closed. Single digits coming tonight.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Thats how mine were looking, packed with snow. the cold sure makes the plastic brittle. Broke 2 steering knuckles. Worth it though, its fun sliding around on the snow.

Yep, I broke a rear hub carrier not long after those pictures were taken. Of course, that may have been more due to the flip and subsequent barrel rolls down the sidewalk, than from the cold.

Looks like fun. Great pictures! I used to live of Powers Ferry just north of 285. Everyone would go crazy when it would snow 1-2 inches. Hilarious.

Awesome. I can see the little guy’s grin even through the mask.
Brings back memories, got my first RC in the middle of snow season. First few packs were mostly spinning around on ice. Besides just being stunned that the thing actually worked it was a blast.
