XXX-CR box art paint

Thought I'd share my XXX-CR with box art painted body. I can't take credit for the work-I bought it and this and another body were in the box. The previous owner claims it was in the box sealed when he got it. He seems to think Losi sent some out like this as "surprises" Anyone heard of this?

i never heard of it, but looking at the detail of the body, it looks great whoever painted it, very fine attention to detail, looks great

That is swweeett! That is one lucky find! Makes me want to go buy that XXX-CR that has been sitting on my LHS shelf for the last year or so. Love that box art, now that it's cold and snowing I think I will tackle my XX, and JRX2 (courtesy of Mrlexan) bodies and attempt some box art.
