I now have all the parts need to complete a really good replica of this car, but for the body, I need more different view of it to identify all the stickers...
I am exited to see the project. This car was my favorite of this era. I set my car up as close as possible to this car and it handled great. Make sure you take some good pics and post them up. Good luck, I will look around to see what I can find.
I figured I better start a proper thread for this one so it gives me a place to post pictures on the progress as I create a Buggy Master replica from his 1990 Radio Operated Automobile Racing Organization, Nationals winning car.
Here are the...

They're in the RCCA archives. I believe that Flip still has them on his site-
Well, I always loved the Cliff Lett ROAR 90's winner, with the red white and blue body with sharpie rivets around the window. When I saw that front nose plate with the big swoop of a notch cut in, I did the same thing to a nose plate, which I think...

Fantastic build. I really enjoy seeing these replica builds come to life.
Picked this up ftom fletch the other day. Not exactly sure if it will become anything more than a tear down, clean up and put back together. But we'll see. I like starting out with cars like this to see how nice they are under the dirt. :)...

I realized tonight that I did actually move this build along since the last chassis pics. Turnbuckles and ball cups are on. I also had a pair of AE universals chrome plated and installed. Oh, and the nose tubes.
Guys, Here's my attempt at building a replica. It seems a lot harder to do then building a custom car because there is no creative freedom, you've got to adhere as closely to the original as possible and the finding of very specific parts.

This Cliff Lett replica is an amazing build and one of my favorites. I can remember starring at the picture of Cliff’s car in RCCA for hours looking for build tips.
reggie hooked me up with a nice used cadillac to use as my foundation for a cliff lett replica i've had on mind for quite awhile. which one you might ask? well, you'll see when it's done. :P

Gotta be cool for someone like him to be asked to sign an RC car. Ya know, it's not like he was a famous baseball player, and is only known within a small group of RC people. I know it'd be cool for me if someone remembered something I did in the...
Starting a new project with a big thanks to Gary aka (Redscampi) This will be an ongoing project and it wont be an exact replica but i will do the best i can. I will throw up some pics shortly of what i have done so far.
This could take awhile but one has to start somewhere :D
I can't believe how modified the 4wd cars were back then about the only stock part is the motor mount everything else is either modified or replaced the car you purchased in the shop was...

Absolutely incredible build, thank you so much for sharing your journey. I really hope Cliff Lett see’s it one day :D
Finally took some pics of my Cliff Lett Tribute of his RC10T used at the 1990 Florida Winter Champs. Aitronics decals still missing but nearly complete.
Absolutely awesome! I got an RC10T 25+ years ago after seeing this truck in RC Car Action magazine. I've got two replicas, one is my original truck that I've updated with modern running gear. I run it at a local track on carpet. I also bought a...
