Pro-Line B4 Bodies

Post by Nouseforaname »

I was looking for Pro-Line B4 bodies, but all of them are discontinued.

All I could find were J-concepts and Associated bodies, anybody heard about new Pro-Line bodies?

I'm wondering if the B5 is in the near future?

They just released the B4.1 not to long ago. The only difference I noticed was a gear driving differential. Maybe it was to hold everyone over until they finished the B5.

Huh? That is strange. Even if a new one is comming out there are a lot of B4s out there. They usually make bodies for years after a model is gone. The B4.1 and 4.2 are not a new design. They just have different electronics and the SC10 gearbox. I would think some of the Associated gurus on here would get a whiff of a B5 if there is one on the way. I really can't see what they would change on them. I guess that is why I am not a designer, I thought the RC10 CE stealth was about as good as it gets. Come to think of it I still might not be wrong. :P

they don't list any 1/10 buggy bodies on their web site. Maybe they are to busy with the short course truck bodies.

could it be due to a description change on the packaging? as in adding (fits b4 and b4.1)

I heard from this guy i know related to the sister of this other guy....Associated might be coming out with a newer rear tower with similar holes to the one the team guys are modifying from stock. No other real plans for future though. Slicker non groove tracks to use the Hubs with more toe in ...racers edge makes some....i know there are a fewer others making similar ones too...

The new towers are already out as a running change. I believe the hubs are going to be ready soon as well, but don't quote me on that. I *think* they were redesigning a few other parts as running changes as well...

If you guys are running the B4 I highly recommend the 4th hole shock tower and 1/2 degree hubs. We have been running the "light weight setup" for a while now and I'm happy to say, it works great! All my towers are hand drilled, but the new pre-drilled versions are out now.
