Re: jus picked up the blitz ese
I'm guessing he ordered one.... if not, I am perplexed.
Edit: when I get mine I am going with a 17.5BL system to run in our stock Short Course class.

Re: jus picked up the blitz ese
I have one pre-ordered, and have not heard anything about them being ready to ship yet. The only thing I can think of is that he got it directly from HPI and paid full-ticket price.

Ouch! Isn't the street price going to be around $239? Hefty markup to be the first on the block... and then not have electronics to run it yet.drillNink wrote:i live about 15 mins away from foothill ranch thats where there located and ya i paid a pretty penny for it 400 to be exact ill have to wait a lil to buy the rest of the car tho lol...ill post some pics

Re: jus picked up the blitz ese
It looks to be pretty well optioned out. I did not know they had them ready for sale yet.
The electronics I guess will depend on what your local rules are if you plan on racing it. My Blitz runs especially well with a 10.5 Novak BL system in it.
I need to find an option for the diff outdrives. Seems the original Blitz outdrives are made out of a pretty soft metal. After just a little of runtime, there are pretty large groves forming in them where the dogbone pins run. Anybody here know of an aftermarket solution made out of harder metal? I need to pick up some CVD's for it as well.
