A friend of mine raced at the worlds back in 96 and he sold his car to me that was given to him by associated i still have the car its an tweener looks like the associated rc10L2car but it smaller.

Here's my attempt at an RC10L fiberglass box art restoration. I started tonight by laying everything out and taking inventory. It looks like I have everything for the build except the body, the correct esc, batteries and of course, a drivers figure....

Thanks guys,

I am aware of controlling the angle in flight with throttle and brake, it just seems like the car is already in its landing position night after takeoff, it is more predominant on some tracks compared to others.

Just purchased a pinion gear from ebay. it was advertised as a RC10T3 gear...but low and behold...its not. The face width is about 1.5mm shorter than stock. I'm concerned the short face width will wear the mating PLASTIC spur gear unevenly. The...

just make sure you set the gear mesh right, it shouldn't be tight. a good way to set the mesh is to put a peice of paper between the two gears. that spacing is just about perfect.

I like them both, but I got to admit, the car itself is nicely done.

I almost painted my current 10L with that Shell scheme, but went for a Gulf Racing theme in the end.
the Gulf theme is cool I did that on my composite craft 12L and love the car.
