Cool to find an early wheel radio in such minty condition - the case looks very much like a 'Digifleet' 6 channel controller my dad brought in the mid-late eighties for our planes - but that looked 'retro' even back then compared to the mainstream alternatives from Futaba etc.
My question, is how do you hold it during operation? - I presume the lever on the R/H side is the throttle - but it all looks a bit awkward to me?
Over here its always been the norm to use stick radios - wheel or 'gun' controllers were considered to be what you always got with 'Toy' grade stuff - although i've noticed an increase recently in the use of wheel radios - but I think thats because manufacturers are increasingly not offering the stick option
