I took some pics of my older stuff for fun.. Collected these thru deals..

I don`t see a lot of these in OG boxes..

Some motors.. Saw NIB technigolds sell for 200 on ebay, so I put mine in zip-locks.

ESCs..

Have some more 1200 SCEs, but they look like shit.

S-132Hs. Got a few 148s but they`re too common so didn`t bother taking pics of those..

This never sold in the BST. Keeping it now as I got an Optima.

Kyosho newb here. Bought what looks like an older inferno at a flea market. Got it running well but after a few hours blew the rear bevel gear for the diff. It's a 15 tooth gear, but cannot find a replacement. If someone can help me I'd...

The 0.21 is not a problem - Incorrect lack of shimming (use of shims) of the pinion is where the cat is burried.

In general it´s a strong buggy (fantastic in my book)

I've had this idea in my head for a long time, and finally started a B44 street build that pays tribute to the old Yokomo's.

So far I've added these parts:

- Pro-Line Featherlight Yokomo wheels with custom aluminum adapters
- Pro-Line Road Hawgs

So next topic for the day as a newb.

Older ESC's. So back in the day when I saved my allowance, I purchased an old NOVAK ROOSTER ESC

Question is, since LIPO power wasn't available back then, would a 2S Lipo kill this thing?

As long as your ESC is in good shape, it will be fine with a 2s lipo. I run a 2s lipo on a Rooster, Dually, T4, 410M1c and a Duster with no issues. As mentioned above, heat and battery dump should be the only concerns. Have fun!

So I was given an RC10 a while back, and its quite dirty. I'd like to tear down the whole thing and inspect it for damage and wear. Something that struck me as an option to clean this was my dish washer.

Is this recommended? or should I use regular...

Though I haven't cleaned it yet, upon further inspection, I think its another 6gear!

I really want to find some accessories for this. Anyone know if some more modern parts will adapt? namely wheels?

I am far from any expert on RC cars. I purchased this about a decade or so ago and i ran it a good bit. It sat for several years, the other day i got it back out and its got issues. 1. Battery chargers, steering works...

I plug the ESC into channel 1 and ESC just beeps and the car rocks back and forth but no steering and no throttle response. I plug ESC into channel 2 and ESC does not beep but I still get no throttle or steering response.

So Ive come in to a large amount of older ESCs. Sadly the wiring on almost all of them is quite dismal. Is there anywhere or a person who is known for rewiring old ESCs? Does it even make sense to spend the money on them?

Yup.

I’d happily repair all the others for him with vintage wires in trade for 1 of the 410Ks

Also have a mate who is GUN with repairing ESCs at a component level - he can fix...

Does anyone know of a good substitute for the clear plastic washer like seal next to the c clip in the bottom of the shock?
