df02 for vta platform

ive got an old df02 chassis it looks alot like a tt01 i was thinking of using it as a platform for VTA racing on carpet this winter my question is are there any parts i could change out to take the slop out of the steering ,the servo is good just excess flex thru out

Are the DF02 steering knuckles the same as TA02? Just wanna know if I can get a replacement.

Also, has tamiya got any 'hard' version suspension arm or steering knuckles/c-hub hop up for DF02?

how much stuff is swappable from the rc10t platform?

like the newer models onto the older stuff?

i have an rc10t and want to get it going again, but want to do it cheaply, or else i wont do it...

needs a tranny or something right now.....

With all the fun I'm having with the new mini the bug bit me and I found a 1/10th car. Seems to be a truck conversion from the proformanance era(no servo saver hole). Has anyone put together a list of other sources of parts that will help rebuild...

There is a lot of interchange across all the vehicles.. The biggest changes were later with the LXT and Retrofit trans but still there were a lot of common parts. Use the manuals at Vintagelosi to help compare the vehicles.

I am working on a bit of an experiment in regards to power / drivetrain, and I am realizing I don't have good base chassis to work off of around the house. I started working on a TC4, but I have no need for the dual trannys and shaft...
