My 2nd RC10.. Craigslist find
This was the ad:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
RC Car $1.
I have an old school Rc Car with remote and tackle box woth parts, oil, and some tools. It needs a spped control use to have a Novake before it went bad, was a quick car when it was running. Make me an offer I'll seel it or trade it. You can call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I called..didnt ask for more pictures or details, made an offer..and drove about 25 miles and exchanged cash for goods. The black chassis with short arms and the black transmission caught my eye..the twister motor was interesting...as much as the plastic packages that looked like wheels and tires in the tackle box...

80% sure its a Composite craft chassis. No cracks or delamination. just a little driver wear at the bottom of the front corners.
MIP SP1 transmission
Long wing tube bulkead without cuts
NIP:
(3 sets) #6802 Rear T.Q. Rims 2"
( Graphite car )
#6871 Front Tires TQ 71 3 rib 2 1/8 rim (has "AE" on the tires)
( Graphite car )
#6852 Front T.Q. rims 2 1/8 (solid)
( Graphite car )
#6854 3 piece Front wheels Fits T.Q. and other 2 1/8 tires
(2 sets) #TR31S Yokomo Rear Tires, Mini pin, soft
Loose in the box, 7 bottles 3/4 full of Team Losi shock oil
Several screwdrivers and allan drivers
Mounted/glued on 2 1/8 plastic/chrome wheels, Front= Team losi "made in usa" and for the rears, the correct 6820 Pyramid tires for the Graphite car. Not glued, but Mounted on 2.0 TQ wheels are another set of the Yokomo TR31 Hot Laps tires. On another set of front T.Q. 2 1/8 wheels are another set of T.Q. 71 front, 3 rib tires.. they have the AE on the tires, same as the NIP set described above.
Also loose in the box are a set of the front 3 piece wheels #6854
I know I need tires/wheels for my RC10 (early cad) but ...Now I am almost wishing I was working on a graphite car!

The standing idea is that auto racing was invented the moment they finished the 2nd car.
