Post by tommy217xxx »

Where the tires that came with the 10t kits the same as the buggy front tires? Does anyone make a similiar wheel? Are the same as a current buggy wheel?

I think I might have found a set. I found a guy that a couple of sets. Will those 1/8 scale buggy tires fit on the narrow rim?

2.2 tire on a 2.2 rim so yes. I never ended up with a set of these so I don't know the width comparison between them but would go as far to say they will fit.

I actually have a set of narrow RC10t rims that came with my lot. They have foam tires on them. Think there might be rears too. But I don't know jack for what things are worth. If I did, I'd be on Ebay listing everything "vintage" to pay the rent. lol

I'd give those wheels a soak and see if they were intact - a lot of folks 'flattened' them to accept foam but who knows until you have a look at the complete wheel. Acetone or lacquer thinner should take care of any glue holding the foam!
