How much does it weigh - your 2wd buggies

Post by JK Racing »

I have been wanting to do this for some time, being a racer in a no-timing 17.5 class (or brushed 27T), I've been trying to stay at/near minimum weight without sacrificing punch/durability. Our minimum weight is 1499 g. There are things I could do to each car to bring the weight down, but each one runs quite well as is.

The batteries tested:

Losi 3800 shorty lipo (60C)
Checkpoint 5400 lipo (24C)
Orion 3600 Carbon lipo (25C)

Cars:

RC10 CE 6 gear
RC10 CE Stealth
RC10 B4
TLR 22

do you do any milling on the 10's? i like to take away weight any where, where it's not needed. mostly center to rear. and when needed, that removed weight i'll use it like ballast weight to the front.

also all the stock hardware replaced with titanium does a hellva difference.

The gold CE is milled "worlds style" by Jeepz. I dont have any cut down chassis/motor plates.

The 6 gear car has a bunch going against it...

Full size receiver
Powder coated chassis w/chassis wrap on the bottom
3 piece front wheels
6 gear tranny
full size nose plate
antenna mount
HEAVY Protech body (layers of paint)
