MAC and posting pics?

hello i have a MAC and im having trouble posting pics.. when i try to post a pic i choose the file than add the file....a window pops up that says its "upload in progress". after the window disapears and the screen is like i never did anything? the choose file box is blank . what am i doing wrong?

After uploading your file, look under "Posted Attachments", you should see the file listed. If you're unsure, click on Preview to see your post before you actually submit it. Also look to see if your file size is too big or of a file type that is not allowed. A message to that effect will appear under the Post header.

at the top of the screen it says file is too big, how do i fix that????

Open the picture in an image editor and save it as a jpeg file format. Resize and compress it until it's the right file size.

You can crop and resize in Preview on a Mac. VERY simple, and no special software needed.

Or set your camera settings to a lower size/format
