Source for replacement SWB Cat front belt
Hi folks,
I'm building up a SWB Cat with Fibrelyte chassis and Mr Lexan repro body, and don't have a SWB drive belt. I imagine genuine SWB Cat belts are either non-existant or being hoarded (rightfully so). I recall reading once somewhere that there is a company who can supply belts in custom pitches and lengths, fairly inexpensively.
If anyone knows either of where I could find a genuine SWB Cat front drive belt, or a suitable alternative I would be most gratefull.
BTW I'm located in Melbourne, Australia.
Thanks in advance.
Steve

Replacement SWB Cat front belt
Hi Steve
I wonder would this fit...
A 6Z16M298045 from sdp-si.com
https://sdp-si.com/eStore/PartDetail.asp?Opener=Group&PartID=29754&GroupID=342
It's 4.5mm wide, which is a bit wider than the kit item (4mm)
or maybe this one...
B-MX-298-047-NF from smallparts.com.au
http://www.smallparts.com.au/store/item/bmx298047nf/beltstiming2032mmpitchmxl/

Re: Source for replacement SWB Cat front belt
Hi Kaszal,
Thankyou very much for the links. I honestly don't know what length/pitch the CAT SWB belts are, but I presume you do and that these are close?
For the few bucks they cost I'm willing to give it a shot. I'll order 1 and report back on my findings.
Thanks again!
Cheers,
Steve

No problem, Steve
You're welcome!
I never had a SWB but I found the manual online...

I've done something special with my Procat...
