Survivor RC10T sport truck with Tower Hobbies ST15 body.
Here's some picks of a survivor RC10T sport truck with the Tower Hobbies ST15/6131 GT repro body. The truck was in great shape when I got it, just very dirty, rusty, and generally in need of an overhaul. I replaced most of the hardware and cleaned up the rest. Didn't really need any parts replaced. I have an original 10T body I was thinking about putting on this, but kind of wanted to save it for something else. Then I got a few of these ST15 bodies, so I decided to see how it would work. Overall it was a pretty easy job. The dremelling was a little tricky because of the confined area, I taped off the area around the work on the inside of the body and saved from having a few extra scratches. The body mount was easy, just an extended mount screwed to the factory hole in the trans mount. The body rests on top of the factory posts right now, which are in the high position, so it is a little higher than factory. With a little more dremelling on the body and/or shock tower you could get it much lower. I also had to move the shocks to the inner hole on the shock tower. The front is identical to the 10T, so it mounts exactly like the original body. I think it looks good, and hard to beat for less than $20 shipped from tower.

Yeah, it's close. If you were willing to play with the shock mounting and trim the tower you could probably make it fit pretty good with no body mods. On the plus side the body is pretty thick in that area, and I don't think it would present any durability issues under normal use.

I like your note to yourself about the bushings...gotta do that myself so when I get back to it I know whats in need or when I part it out whats there worthy of keeping. Does look good. Have you played around with different rear towers to see if anything else would work without body mods and still keep close to a t tower?

Haven't tried any other towers, but seems like most of them have the same mounting holes, so would probably be more or less the same.
