Digging and organizing, figured it was worth a Kodak moment. There's pretty much one of everything in there and I don't believe this is all of it.

RC Competition Corner was flat-out the best racing facility in Syracuse, tracks were superb, Cosmo (owner) was knowledgeable...fast...helpful and just pleasant. His wife, was the demise if the shop...being a polar oppisite to Cos.

Digging out my old stuff cant believe what all I found!

The Novak esc with no sticker is a Novak 1, that was the 2nd esc I ever had! I got in late '87/early '88 I think! The 1st esc I had was a home built, that a friend loaned me!

Agreed-- the Sand Paws do look 'less-than-desirable', but man do they perform!

The split paddle does do a great job of providing a smooth ride--

The huge scoops work great in sand, of course, but as shown here-- water, snow & grass as well.

A brief pop-up shower this afternoon left the track a little wetter than I'd expected.
However, traction was exceptional and a good time was had by all. Even managed to carry the front wheels through certain sections - and that never happens.

I want to water proof my ESC, i heard that you can just coat the bored down with RTV or permetex but dont know if this is true or not. Any ideas?

Plasti dip is definatly a great way for waterproofing electronics, just make sure none gets on the heatsink when you are doing speed controls. Also be sure to put dielectric grease on all the connectors and pins otherwise they will corrode up pretty...
