Airtronics XL-2P Radio

Post by martinman »

Hi Everyone,

The battery pack in my XL-2p is shot. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this:

It seems like the correct dimensions. However, I don't think it has the terminals on top that would contact with the remote. By any change, has anyone tried this?

I'll check both of mine when I get home, but I am pretty sure this radio has the contact points to complete the circuit and that is more like a receiver plug. So you could modify the plug or find rechargable batteries.

I love this radio.

That is the correct battery. The connector is right on the bottom when you remove the battery door. just plug it in.
