Would anybody be able to identify this motor? I am looking at making some simple upgrades to my old RC10, but I don't want to put lots of $ into it...just something to get it going again. I have the stock speed control and am looking into upgrading into a simple electronic speed control and maybe a motor upgrade, but I have no idea what I would be upgrading from. Here are the pics:

Any help would be appreciated.

A closer picture would help, along with pictures of both ends of the motor.

It's a Twister Scorpion. I think 27T stock and either 24- or 44-degree timing.

There's a Demon motor that has this unusual extra feature on the side of the can. It's a removable endbell modified motor, so this feature shouldn't be associated with holding the endbell to the can. Any thoughts what this could be for? I'm...

Yep, lookin to me like you might need some front axles and remove those rear wheel adaptors and a body. Should be just about everything for a nice lookin rc10 but I'm sure I'm missing something...
