Weirdly, the tubs are not as shiny on the bottom (I know the Atomic Carbon AC10 had the same issue - same tub, just a different weave).

The tubs are made from a one piece mould, which fits inside the tub, so that is the smooth / shiny side, if a two piece mould was used then both sides would be shiny, but then it costs twice as much to make the moulds.

FB are happy to make the nose plates, but only UNdrilled.

Just curious why you don't drill them. Because of the kickup? couldnt' you just flop it onto that part and drill or doesn't fit in the press that way?

I blasted mine with laquer which makes it lovely and shiny on the bottom too
