So going throw my RC stuff and found my first race charger. I believe this was a British company and they were very popular at the time in the UK. It years since I used it but I seem to remember needing a voltmetre to monitor it. The internal battery still worked! although I removed it after taking the picture just incase it leak everywhere. Here is a pic who remembers these?
Is LRP Quadra Pro 2 Charger still a good LiPo charger? Will it get the job done? I picked it up years back for charging some random NiMH packs and it says it can handle LiPos. Don't know if there's some magic in the newer chargers to make them any...

LRP is a decent brand. I have no info on that particular charger, but if it was mine I'd use it for Lipo's. I have 4 chargers, and tend to use the old ones most often. There's no magic behind them. The older ones likely just charged at lower amp...
Does anyone have any experience using the charger....Associated has it deeply discounted on their web site under web specials.....regular 260.00 now 65.00.

Buddy gave me his old Pro-Ace super charger that he got when he bought the RC10 I now have. Has adjustable current, trickle charge and can run on AC or DC power. Question is, can I charge my 5000mah batteries with it? I do plan to get a newer...

It used to have a nice polished finish.
Anybody remember the Tuna Charger circa 1982? It was the first commercially available temperature sensing charger I can remember. They were made by a racer named Gary Slayton who worked for Panavision in SoCal. Here's a pic of mine, complete with...
