Team car refresh and runner
Re: Team car refresh and runner
I like this a lot!
Are those wheel caps that snap on?
Is there shrink wrap around the ESC capacitors?

Thank you, the wheel discs are stickers, I won't use them for running because they tend to come off and I don't want to glue them to decent wheels. Yes the capacitors are clear shrink wrapped.

Rebuilt and Retro fitted a pair of MIP CVDs from my old B3;

What to do next?!....

Re: Team car refresh and runner
Thank you, few changes and the car will be back out for practice night at the same track tomorrow. May put a transponder in and compare some lap times ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

Two last pics are really killer! Looks like your springs are a bit soft for that rather flat track besides the jump areas. I would try silver rears and blue fronts plus add some weight in the nose, like 40gr or less. Oh and make sure to add a driver in there, that true vintage detail ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)

The track is deceptively bumpy, how ever today I have fitted blue front and silver rear springs, so you confirmed I've made the right move.. I've got a brass weight for under the lipo and my friend has turned me a weight for the nose
see how it goes tomorrow night!

Re: Team car refresh and runner
Ready for the first outing of the year, no changes.. I've just rebuilt the front shocks and thickened the oil a little.

Re: Team car refresh and runner
That looks great! I was liking the wheel covers, but the yellow rims really finish it off.
I killed an Edinger...the shame
