Bodies to paint

Post by vintage AE »

I got board at work and found myself on TBG site...

I needed a Jrx2 wing, but figured that if I was paying for shipping, I might as well grab a couple of bodies. I picked up a MRP Mears body and a Jammin Jay Jumper body along with the Losi wing. The plan is to make some money on the bodies to complete the Jrx2 project and buy some electronics for the Team Associated replicas I've created.

Parts needed

Jrx2 wing buttons
Yellow wheels

Steering servo: Unsure (any info or guesses would be appreciated)
Rx: Airtronics 92237 27mHz 3ch FM (with red fuse cover)
ESC: LRP IPC Digital V6 (bought crappy one off ebay that I have to restore)
Motor: Reedy Firehawk 27t
Batteries: Unsure (any info or guesses would be appreciated)

B4 Factory Team
Steering servo: Reedy (any info or guesses would be appreciated)
Rx: LRP Phaser Competition

I got the Jammin Jay Jumper body done. I saw a banner on one of the Team Associated web pages that inspired me. I went with a metallic blue and pearl white paired with a red/blue/light blue stripe combo... it looks sharp, pics don't do it justice. Just pair this up with some polished aluminum wheels and then start wiping up the drool from your chin.

Next up is the funco body, it'll be getting candy rootbeer and cream with a gold stripe combo.
