House and garage burned down in the Northern California Paradise fire November 8th along with my classic car project and tools so I started with a gold pan from eBay to build up like the one I had in the 80’s and in my search for parts my new collection expanded to include the DS. Much like with hot rods, I used to want to modify every part but now I like box stock. One of these days I’d like to make tire molds and learn the tire making process, I want to be able to run my vintage rc10’s without having to put funky new wheels and tires on it.

Hi Woodstock, that's dreadful you lost your home in the fire. Best wishes for recovering from that.
Post updates on how your gold pan is progressing (I still need to eventually get one).
