B6 buggy body
Just finished up airbrushing this body for a friend's Son's Rc race buggy so he can give it to him for Christmas. Did a real nice metallic blue with a torn metal effect that looks like it's ripping back to reveal a checkered flag underneath. Also gave the windows a light tint and did a real fine mist spray of the same blue as the body on the wing to make it look transparent blue.
I use to do a lot of airbrushing back years ago on bodies when I was into Rc back then. Got out of it for about 20 yrs so a bit rusty but it's starting to come back to me a bit.

Looks great Steve.
Wow, I'd like to see what you've painted before you became "rusty".
You are an artist!

Re: B6 buggy body
Thanks. I use to do it quite a bit back in the day but this is only my 3rd airbrushed body since getting back into Rc last year. I definitely have to get a quality brush again thats for sure. Years ago when I was doing it I had a really nice Iwata airbrush and that use to hold a real nice fine line. Sold that when I got out back then and now just picked up a cheapie $15 China one to use for a bit. It does the job but just makes things so much harder then the Iwata ever did.

Re: B6 buggy body
Well it's just amazing what you can do with a cheap brush.
I just have a Paasche set that I bought back in the '80's. I've used it to paint just about every RC I've owned including this sprint car - which is the absolute limit of my painting ability - not that great.
