BITD, all I had to race was a Tamiya Falcon - by the time I got a "real" R/C car, I was away in college and didn't have time to race at Family...The only track I ran was all RC10s and that track's long long gone

As I hunt for kits, motors, upgrades, etc I keep seeing a difference between what used to be desirable and what currently brings the big $$$. It seems like currently, stock is king. All original, no mods. For brushed motors, 27T stock motors seems...

RPM or Associated, those molded center links bring good money, even the black ones. But the white ones get stupid.

I have a few broken 10T bellcranks that I bought just for the center links and hardware.

Just wondering if they made/sold servos back in the vintage years like Novak. I'm installing Tekin electrics in my Hot Trick buggy and thought it would look interesting having a matching red Tekin servo, if there ever was such a thing.

I'm pretty sure the tekin servos are vaporware. Never actually made it to maket. They have been temporarily unavailable for a year or 2 now.

Old dye job looking bad, re-dyed with Royal Blue I had saved. Swap motor with the Stinger..

Swap pipe, Header and Cylinder Head from the other Duratrax Truck..

Using Kyosho Stinger engine mounts to lean motor forward and to the inside.

Never...

OK, my first race ever is less than 24 hrs away. I am racing in an indoor 1/10 scale 2wd and i got my old but newer rc10 ready to compete. Also, locally, they have a off road 2wd stadium truck race which I can run my rc10 truggy thingy with my mamba...

I have been offered an F1 car to drive on our local carpet track and I am considering it but have never raced anything but off road. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions to help with the driving difference between carpet and off road? I spent...
