Team Associated RC12 L3 Oval Ad

In 1999 Team Associated released the RC12L3O. The oval variant of their 1/12th scale pan car line the L3O rode on an entirely new carbon fiber chassis with extensive lightening in the left battery mount. Featuring Associated's Dynamic Strut front and VCS with triple micro shock rear suspension the L3O received titanium steering turnbuckles, a revised rear pod for more motor room and new, lighter, 3-bolt aluminum hubs driven by a 64-pitch pinion/spur direct drive with ball bearing differential and a graphite axle. Lighter Pro-Line/Jaco green compound foam tires, ball bearings and alloy screws were included with the kit, though electronics and a body were not. The RC12L3 road version was built to similar spec with a carbon fiber chassis, Dynamic Strut front, adjustable t-bar rear suspension, and saddle mount batteries.
