Fibre-Lyte Carbon Fiber Tub

While the TQ10 and the Graphite were Associated's first carbon chassis RC10, their plate style design had been produced as an upgrade by various companies for years prior. Fibre-Lyte however, was one of only a few companies (Including Fusion Speed in Brea California and Buffalo Composite Designs in Lubbock Texas) that made full carbon fiber tubs in the early 90's. Manufactured via a vacuum infusion process in Stokesley England the carbon tubs were available factory direct and could also be purchased in the U.S. through APEX MODELS and Japan R/C Imports:
