I recently acquired a ton of old R/C magazines and I found this very intersting article where Jay and Jim Halsey are interviewed. Nice details about how they started in R/C, what they did before, some tips and some very interesting pictures too We also finally learn here what kind of electronics/motor Jay was running. Finally have a look at that blue anodized chassis, simply awesome. There's also a nice article on the CAT XL and the Avante in the same magazine, but that will be for later Enjoy guys

This is a great post for the scan library, now we can come up with a more perfect repro of the Halsey championship car after reading this article. Super post David hope to see more of this stuff soon.
