I ended up buying one of the cheap chinese ones. I'll just use it with stock motors. haven't had a chance to try it yet though...

If so this is a great deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/Associated-LRP-Quantum-Super-Reverse-ESC-LRP8420_W0QQitemZ360100154704QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item360100154704&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

It looks just like my Futaba MC800C but with reverse too!
As far as I can tell, it is for 1/10 & 1/12 scale cars, so I would say that it is for 540 size motors????

I might get some of these-- $9 shipping works on as many as I choose to punch in the calculator (tried 10), so for $100 I could get three of these. I am going to email them first to verify that.

Seems like a good replacement as the 101BKs get used up (read: melted)! ;)

Edit: I forgot the quote from bngiles-- I meant the LRP ones.
The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Noticed these Dynamite Tazers while looking through a new catalog. No idea if they are any good, but fairly cheap and have a 1 year warranty I believe.
