My Edinger RC10 January 85

Post by slotcarrod »

I'm new on this forum (great place by the way) and thought I would share one of my most prized gems with you. It is an original RC10 from the first batch of 500 made. It was built (from kit) on 27 January 1985 by a hobbyshop in Florida (4 hrs labour) and has been a shelf queen ever since. It has never been driven. It's a little dusty, but I like to call it patina. One day I will give it a thorough cleaning. Enjoy!

More autographs on the original box. I filled the box with paper and shrink wrapped it to keep it from getting dinged or stained any more.

That body and wing are the painted bodies you could get from Associated at the time.

pt# 6160X body custom paint $28.00

pt# 6186X wing large custom paint $4.00

Some pics of the original manuals.

Of note on the top left corner on the back of one manual is labour for assembly (3+1 hrs) and the date 27 Jan 85 in pen. All have the Edinger address on the back.
