Soaking a Rusty Sway Bar?

When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

Soaking a Rusty Sway Bar?

How long? Its been sitting in WD40 since yesterday, rubbed the rust off first, of course. Can I put it on? Can I? HUH? Can I, can I, can Iiii????

The only issue with putting it back on will be if it gets wet or is exposed to high humidity. It will rust again. I suggest maybe a light clearcoat or wax it thoroughly to keep it shiny. And yes, my mom said it's ok too. :mrgreen:

use naval jelly to remove rust, takes like 10 seconds to clean it with the naval jelly. get it at any home depot. rub it with some car wax afterwards, should protect it.
