Today Was A Good Day...

Post by FasterLouder »

I had a cool time,today.
I finished up my MaCallister truck body paint job for my JRXT and a really clean Losi Revolution motor turned up on my door. :D
I'm pretty happy with the way the paint turned out,not perfect, but good enough for me.
Got the paint for my RC10 body, too. :D

I like the colors, it looks great. The only thing is if you cut out the back of the body out like the box art one, it makes the rear spoiler from the back. here is a pic, I cut it out and just bent it to were it looked right and double side taped down.

That thing came out Silky Smooth

It actually doesn't look bad at all without the back cut out.

Thanks guys!
I was a little torn on wether to cut the rear out...I decided if I left it intact and it looked kooky,I could always cut it out later.
I have a huge stash of T2 era AE truck spoilers, man they're good for almost any stadium truck body and I might just slap one on this truck...Except,nobody was really running spoilers when the JRXT was current, huh?
I dunno,I can be so indesisive,sometimes...

Just installing a NIP RC10T2 rear carbon shock tower to match the front carbon tower...Man,I've been looking for one of those since I bought the truck 3 or so years ago. :D
I could never part with my T2-It's the car that got me back into RC after a long hiatus and I love the way it looks and performs.
The last of the alloy tub AE chassis, truly atomic bomb proof!
Kinda sad to retire it to the shelf for a T4.
If anyone has a new T2 chassis they'd be willing to sell me,or trade me I'm dead keen. :)

Brandon I think of you as a great friend, but I dont know if I deserve that complement? Your cars and trucks look great to. I was working on my xxcr I got from you today, its one of my favorite cars. I sold my beloved Jrx pro se and kept it to race at the vintage nat's if I can make it. I really like your truck. I painted mine box art for a lack of an original Idea. You just went for it and it looks great, thats is a fine Jrxt.
