Any guidance on how to ID vintage motors that you have in hand? Like, I have a Revenge of the Monster motor that according to the excellent Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide in this subforum is a Trinity motor, but nowhere on the motor...

Not always, but I had several with it written on the armature with a marker.

On many of the stock motors, look for visual clues. Different cans and endbell designs were often used on different iterations.

So, while cleaning out a shop on our property, I find 3 pieces of Auto Glass. Two are fairly non-discrip, probably back glass of some kind. The biggest looks to be a Front Windshield (but could be a rear glass from the saem era) from some early 60s...
