oh, they were called chicken hopper because they delivered constant fuel pressure ... like a chicken water feeder ...kept a already lean carb setting from going way way too lean when the fuel was low ... usually either killed the engine ... or melted it down .. ( g ) ...

I'd say that's the gospel according to one of the Delta originals! Welcome to the board Ken seems to have flown under the radar. We should have a thread called "Ask Ken", glad to have you here.

anyone know of any direct replacement fuel tanks and steering linkage?
i missed the last ones on ebay
