Re: My X11 Predator
Isn't one of the 'improvements' with the X11 is that all the plastic parts now have a high graphite content? It certainly looks like the extra graphite content will improve Xtreme RCs balance sheet

Re: My X11 Predator
Well the graphite makes it stiffer and lighter. I must say again, the hit this took would have seriously damaged ANY car! It was at the end of the straight into the wall
No panic, 2 new chassis's and a prop in the post

The 3 piece chassis! Now that was delicate!
Lovely car though. i had a very early chassis I bought from Richard Weatherley in about 93... The carbon tubs looked so bling.

I have two carbon tub cars that I need to get sorted out, various other off road Preds, and some touring cars......

If it was it would have all the 'interesting' bits:
- Thin carbon fibre steering rack piece that broke as soon as you looked at it.
- Hard black o-rings that didn't seal.
- Steel pinions without a collar (it breaks).
- Motor disk without a groove (motor moves forward in a shunt).
Think thats it, there were a few upgrades to the first kit.

Re: My X11 Predator
The chassis # is 50172...... do you know which numbers were affected?
I will never likely run it anyway, I bought it as I like the different take on the design and engineering.

..and the oldest basic design on the market.. Amazing these were designed in 1993. I honestly never thought they'd come back after the P8, but hey 3 versions since then and still going strong. If nothing else, British engineering lasts!mrlexan wrote:The chassis # is 50172...... do you know which numbers were affected?
