Mike, how do you put food on your table? (ie. what do you do for a living?)
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Re: Hot Trick RC10 Build
i am a "jack of all trades" lol.
i started selling on ebay back in the mid 90's when it first was created, with my uncle and his brother we were one of the biggest ebay sellers at the time. as hard as it is to believe nowadays, were we actually the 2nd ebay "powersellers" ever. we were the 2nd group people at the time to hit over 1000 feedback, we sold collectibles, toys, antiques, books, magazines, autographs, ephemera, etc. Thus the Name "mikedealer", we were around before "user id's" existed, and my old ebay name was [email protected]. Later my uncle changed the name and it became vickislist, and they still sell random stuff to this day.
Today, i do Vinyl Signs, Graphic and Web Design (http://www.vinylsignonline.com). But i also install car stereos and alarms, do window tinting (which i cut on the vinyl cutter machine for a precise fit), auto repair and furniture restorer (i restore old vintage wood peices in my girlfriends house in honesdale PA, we do dressers, beds, cabinets etc)
But my Main Job 9-5 is Network Administrator/Technician. i work at a company that services 100+ smb's and manage networks, fix computers, etc etc etc.
And even with all those jobs, and my other hobbies, food is sometimes hard to put on the table, due to my poor money management skills lol

Re: Hot Trick RC10 Build
ok i am looking to buy a tranny and aluminum wheels (or chrome plastic)
For a tranny, i would love a MIP black case tranny, l have 2 MIP diff change trannys, one NIP and one assembled for some sort of trade+cash maybe?
rims i would like to find a set of 1.9 front, and 2.0-2.1 rears. Pretty easy on looks, would like to find something alloy though.
any help would be great, can trade or buy, let me know whatcha need

damn mike... nice.
i fancy car audio myself, but i havent read up on anything since i researched the components in my transam a couple years ago. i told myself i wouldnt do it to the samurai, but i got a feeling its going to get some attention when the weather and workload get more comfortable.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160202371472
cleaned it up a bit (was in nice shape), threw in a reedy modified motor... and the only thing left is rims/tires (no idea what rims to use), and to install the "A Touch of Class" motor plug holder... even though i have no idea how to mount it.. cant find any good pictures, and before i start guessing... maybe someone here knows? gonna mount some electronics.. and a servo.. then sell off the rest of my extra hot trick stuff lol

Re: Hot Trick RC10 Build
Very nice Mike, so you don't plan to mount the HT "touch of class" thingy?
I mounted one on mine and it looked uuuugly, so I took it off immediately...

Re: Hot Trick RC10 Build
Really nice build, sir! I tried that touch of class piece too and I agree with asso_man, it just doesn't look right. I think it's because of the contrast between all of that red and the natural fiberglass. Now if you were to craft a copy out of that spare red TriDirComp material....
