Hey Ronbo, could you please post a picture of the front or rear axle without wheel and hub?
I'd like to see how you sorted the small flat for the hub's grub screw..
Thank you!

Here is the DB01 out of package and the dimentsions in question. I havent inspected the axles on car yet or made the flats. but i believe the flat will go 90 deg from the pin. Im of course concerned about metal stress and fatigue if when i do that. I also have pins and Associated blue 5mm hex adapters to try to run modern rims as well.

Ok, time to update. I got the newer CVDs from a good gent on Facebook. Managed to get the equivalent to the ZC422 and 423. 1 pair 422, 2 pairs 423. Still waiting on the ebay 422s CVDs i ordered in November! Ive set the car up already with them, 423s on all 4 as the RPM rear hubs move the geometry out, thus using the longer shafts. Using the Shapeways rear RC10 for metric bearings should use the 422 as the original car did.
Anyway, the list of parts starts with outside standard Yz10/870c parts:
Vintage RC Yokomo Masami 89 chassis set from Ebay or thier website
JC racing pink, black and white wheels for later yokes
new vintage YZ10 Yr4 plastic bulkheads front and rear
Sabulatech or penguin RC 870c repro body with wing and undertray. Paint is Tamiya rattle can.
MCI decals
Shapeways rear white arms
Shapeways repro front bumper
Shapeways front, middle and rear bulkhead caps to save originals and painted.
RPM front steering knuckles, RPM rear hub carriers. Also have 3D printed set from Yoke group on Facebook
JC racing F/R set of suspension arms, only using the rears for spares up front.
Robinson racing spur gear adapter with one way bearing pulley.
Newer style B74 rear wing mounts, also have a set from ebay newer manufactured version of the aluminum wing mounts
Associated original .71 and 1.02? team shocks for RC10 graphite as mounted in pictures. Will change out with a set of V2 shocks as these go to my Masami RC10GX build
Lipo tray from shapeways for 870c. needed chassis drilled to fit correctly.
Lunsford 4-40 titanium turnbuckles as needed sizes to fit, using stock and modern ball cups.
Electronics is hitec low profile servo, as the KO i ordered for the price was a bit too tall due to the stock setup of this Vintage RC chassis. Masamis was longer wheelbase.
Spektrum radio with LRP AI super reverse digital and a 13T Mr M Reedy Ive had forever.
I still need either a longer steering rack to meet the brace, which had to redrill since its short from Vintage RC kit. Would rather have a compete rack setup as i need a similar setup for RC10GX project. Also would like a period correct Reedy modified motor like original car. TF 31 and 32 tires for display. Need to look into any modern tires that look similiar, as its pricey to get originals.
