Very cool vintage Pandas. I haven't seen any of those in a long time.

Re: Another Scale Racing Truck
I did have another one as well, the newer version, older one came in a flat box and was single bottom plate, more modern one like the Mickey pictured was lower and upper plate and came in that small box, I still have the big boxed red one, but sold a small boxed one on a boot sale, to a young lad with $100 who was about 12 and was desparate for his first nitro, and that was his entire budget, so I did it RTR barring fuel for him, what a smile
The brown one is the later one I sold, but I do have a NIB waiting to be built Ferrari Testarossa on the same Chassis, single plate and purple alloy shocks as standard.
Panda later became Thunder Tiger, and these were the basis of the DT-10 series.

Re: Another Scale Racing Truck
Latest picture off Associated home page showing several different views of the SC8 definitely Nitro - too bad!
Nitro people will be happy I suppose this is a good thing for them.
I'm just afraid the price will be monumental.Nitro people will be happy I suppose this is a good thing for them.

Re: Another Scale Racing Truck
ditto... hope it won't break the bank and hope there's a brushless conversion soon! Awesome looking! Even more scale looking than the Slash!

Re: Another Scale Racing Truck
it looks cool but wouldnt it make more sence to build on to run against the Traxxas unless their trying to make their own class?

Proline seem to think the Slash is here to stay
Pro Line have announced the release of a number of new products for off road racers including this Hardcore Slash body, which captures every essence of Championship Off-Road Racing with exceptional details down to the realistic bed shrouding, radiator, tubular chassis and shock details. The new Hardcore Slash body delivers ultra hardcore fun with aggressive off-road styling, an integrated molded rear wing for added downforce and pronounced fenders.

Re: Another Scale Racing Truck
Double coolness, from both AE and Proline. I am loving it. Now all we need is a track in Northern AL. I might have to travel to Bnglies place just to race.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.
