My local hobby shop had 2 of them today! I just went down and bought my second one!

Now I've got one to show, one to go.

That's what I'm saying. Patience is a virtue especially in this hobby.
I agree. I picked up a few kits from a smaller hobby shop in town, then I waited til the big dogs (Rod   ) got my order in. Snapped up two more. Heck of deal with the pre order price.

Not sure what each one is going to be for, but I am sure I will figure it out.

Not sure what's going on with the delays on parts, but Tower's status keeps updating..... late Oct, early Nov, now it's mid-Nov. I'm waiting for an order of the steering bellcranks, some rear arm mounts, and bulkheads. WTF, does anyone have any insight into the delay on the Associated re-re parts that were promised?

The black nose plate is also perpetually delayed it seems.

No responses, I'll try again. I know a few of you bought parts like the rear bulkheads when they were first released. Anyone else like me waiting on orders for spare parts that seem to be perpetually delayed?

Anyone replace their felt seals for bearing on the out drives of the 6 gear tranny? What size did you go with?

I used 3/8" x 5/8"
the ones that support the diff in the 3 gear tranny
and I made two spacers 3,6mm wide

The standard inner bearing is not needed
The new outer bearing will support the gear just fine

What size are those bearings? I'm looking at upgrading and run the 6 gear before decide to swap out to a stealth.

HI!... I find that they are. The oilite bushing is twice as wide as the single bearing that replaces it. Half the support. Doubling up on the bearing returns the full support. I've never had a problem once I started doubling them up. A fast BL systems will kill the single bearing quickly. Been there, done that. For the extra $2 well worth it IMO.
