Just as good measure you should pick up an extra chassis and top gear cover. I've seen the plastic on the mounting holes get weak allowing the screws to loosen and in turn allowing the gears to skip. I really like the Junfac skid plates, I may pic up some of those. Did you check out some of the RC channel parts before buy the GPM?
Rc channel is my first choice, but things get in different direction when I saw a GPM complete package auction for CC01 (except the steering link). The current bid was only 35usd and its only 3hrs left. I put my max bid to 51. After the time lapse I won for 51usd.
