Kyosho beetle rere

I just purchased a Kyosho kart 10 and the guy I purchased from has the original beetle up for sale, but I didn't ask how much he wanted. It's a neat looking car and I wouldn't mind adding it to my collection.

Got my order in.

finally got my Beetle.

Now, should I build it?
should I run it even?
I think I'll just enjoy it in the box for now.

But I will either pickup another, or more likely a Scorpion, and rebuild it like my beetle racer (no tub, lightweight everything...)

I saw a post yesterday on facebook from Kyosho that looked like you can buy a light pod to fit the body
it was in Japanese, so I could be mistaken.

I haven't built mine yet, I was surprised how much bigger the box is than the Scorpion one.
