Excellent stuff Martin - the XX sure looks tough sitting low with that indoor set-up (perhaps a little too low on the rear) - its great to hear that you are improving.. its got to be said that at this stage its all about little personal victories.. at the end of the day the guys in the 'A' final have been racing constantly year-in, year-out - its all about practice & racing as much as you can. I've been racing since I was 13.... & all those year of experience still hasn't been enough to drag my XX into the 'A' final. The main thing is that you enjoy yourself!
I'm just re-building my XX after what must have been the busiest few months the poor car has experienced in its life - I'm going to retire it for the winter & i'll return back to my mid-motor car whilst most of the racing will be indoors - I will probably get it back up & running for outdoor racing next year where the advantage of the mid-motor cars is less
