Maybe Barrypops from the Tamiya site got some repro wings.
Because he has repro shells and undertrays.

Here's the answer from Keith 8) 8) 8) yooooohooooooooo

Hi David,

The wing will be ready in about two weeks, you will be able to purchase this seperately. I will be working on the gear covers soon and yes these will also be available seperately, cant remember getting a driver, I will have to have a search.

Thanks
Keith

Anyone interested in repro's of the SWB CAT shell? I've been asked a few times about reproductions but after the pain and 2 year wait Jeroen went through, I'd have to find someone other than Kamtec to do it.

I want to finish my SWB car but can't face cutting out the shell & spraying it without knowing I could get replacements. I'd hate myself if I cocked it up.....

So would I Ian  I gave up trying to find a SWB chassis plate, let alone the shell and undertray

BTW Willys added the decals to his website now http://oneofftees.com/zencartPGFX/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2_15&zenid=30ddcaa5913f8b8612a3ac599f7f671f

I think its good value considering its a massive A4 sheet :)

I'm in for 2 sets, for sure. I was in communication with Schumacher about having them re-released in a short run, but the old vintage stuff doesn't seem to be a priority for anyone (go figure!). ;) I'm still working on it, though, but if the repros hit sooner rather than later, I'd definitely take 2.

The rumor over at Tamiya Club was that the molds were intentionally destroyed.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

My guy inside Schumacher USA has told me that Robin has all of the tooling still from every car made. I don't have any reason to doubt him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something good comes from all of my pestering of him. :D

I would be in for one as well if I could also secure a chassis, top deck and belt.
I figure the fibreglass parts could be made fairly easily, but the belt worries me... although who would really know if it didn't have one?? oh yeah, ME !

The only mould that I know was broken was the XLS one, thanks to a production run for Jimbo that cracked it.

Thanks for sticking up for me Stu  I m sure Terry just worded it wrong, I hope

Terry's right though, I had Robin make me ten XLS body and undertray moulds back in July 03. After we had sorted out a price etc he phoned me back a couple of days later to say that the undertray tool had split through the spoiler (something to do with wood and metal :? ) and he stopped the run at 8!.

Minichamps11 and I have had this conversation about 2 months ago and THINK the bumper was changed over in mid XL run. The grey bumper was very brittle. I ve only ever had 1 NIP so are very, very rare, compared to about 15 NIP wide bumpers I ve traded in the past.
