Re: Any good screw sets other than the AE Factory Team set?
the place other then mcmaster how does there quality compare to mcmaster? i use silver stainless for every use or new car i buy to keep or even when i flip them so i save the next person the trouble of mismatched screws/weak heads on the small hex sizes and cheap screws and have never had a problem with the ones from mcmaster. but i am trying to find a place who has titanium 4-40 size for a gt2 race truck/show truck for myself with no expense spared but 9$ a screw aint cuttin it. any sugguestions?
speed r/c taking car of all your rebuilds/restore/used and new custom builds/and anything in between pm me for quotes and`pics of previous builds

Fiero,
Fastener-Express.com is good quality, same as McMaster, although I've had a little bit of inconsistancy from each place to be honest (I find you get a couple lousy hexes our of each hundred no matter where you buy from)
Along the lines of Stainless and Ti fasteners, I personally never use stainless, mostly just due to some bad experiences with broken fasteners on race days, Granted, I've never bought bulk packs from a reputable source, just a "brand x" stainless screw kit for a B something off ebay.
Ti fasterners from Fastener-Express.com run under a dollar per screw, so pretty reasonable.
One thing I haven't tried, that is from FE also that I've heard good things about is their stainless torx fasteners which are much less prone to stripping. I've wanted to try them on some of my custom works cars where you have short flat heads going through the carbon chassis into aluminum suspension mounts, under normal circumstances I change them every couple race nights, and sometimes when you want to change a toe block or something it can be a little sketchy.
