I posted this question in "Temple's Tech" section after finding a similar post during a search but not sure if anyone is reading the old post so I'm posting the question again.

Was it ever fiqured out what the specs are on the "Associated Off-Road Stock" (silver can/blue lable) motor?

it's a 27t stock motor.

Yes, I over simplified it, but as long as the timing is advanced the same on both motors your fine.

Nice!, I have 4 CE's. one 6 gear, and three stealth's ( all white ) but sadly only two green motors. However I'm glad I brought this question up, because until now I thought my early CE 6 gear should have had a blue motor, and had stopped searching...

does anyone have any info on this motor? (year it was made, turns, any parts available, is it worth anything, etc)
I cant say that I remember ever seeing one of these.

The only info I can find sais WorkRite and Leisure were among the first to...

Don´t know if the Leisure sticker is true or not. Anyway this is a AYK GZ1200R motor what was their 2nd motor they made.
The original GZ1200 with fixed timing was released 1979 or 1980 the GZ1200R with adjustable timing was released maybe 1 year...

I got this motor in a JRx-T off the bay. it appears to be an adjustable timing mod motor, but the can is much longer than a standard trinity can. The only thing I see written on it is air supply molded along the bearing carrier part of the endbell....

On A stamp pan. On the end with the 2 threaded holes that gets attached to the chassis - why did they extend the plate so far past those threaded holes? What happened to my car is that the end of the motor mount plate hits the chassis resulting in...

unless your dealing with pristine new out of package or out of box stuff there is always the chance that parts are bent or tweaked a little bit over the years...ive been re shaping tubs and other parts for a few years now taking what would be trash...
