I have a Speedworks 350 motor in extremely good condition (practically mint, I'd say - doesn't look like it has ever been used) and I'm deciding whether to run it or not. I know nothing about the spec of this motor or whether it was considered any good bitd.

Can anyone shed some light on the specs of this motor and whether it was considered any good?

Machine wound 18x2 if I remember right.

Just picked up an old buggy roller and it has a Peak Racing Illusion motor. Endbell says Epic on it and it appears to be fixed timing, but rebuildable. Any ideas as to the turns on this thing? My guess would either be 27 or 19, but don't know until...

Thanks. I got a minute to pull the motor and it said spec 27 on the end of the can. And, yes, it has bushings.

If you open up the motor the wind will be on the stack written with black sharpie. Might not still be readable but you never know!

My RC10 buggy has this motor: Trinity Monster Horse Power 1987 Word Champion. It doesn't seem to make much power with a 3000 mah, 7.2 V nimh battery. I'm wondering if there's a good replacement motor?

I replaced the old motor with a 20 turn HPI motor. Performance is quite nice. I was about to try an 8.4v nimh battery when I lost an axle.

These came in a lot I purchased about a year ago. One is the speedworks oval and the other is the speedworks 427. They both seem like they were never used and I was thinking about using one in a build im doing most likely a truck as I am a truck...

If it matters to you, the specs are as follows...

The 427 motor is a 16X2 suited for 4WD with an RPM of 36,000.

The Dirt Oval motor is a 24X1 suited for 2WD Or 4WD with an RPM of 25,200.
