One of the kits I have factory sealed that I decided to build and try to re-live my first memories of my first B3 . I have not yet found the build pictures but here is a couple of it completed. I will update this thread once I locate the build pictures and get some better ones of it complete. Sorry for the bad photo's but i promise I'll update them with better .
BTW - This makes a total 4 Deja Vu Tu body's that I have now .
I could have swore I posted about this buggy already, guess not.
I remember the day I purchased my first Team Associated RC10B3 buggy way back in 1997. My first B3 was a Sport version though, very basic buggy to say the least. Needless to say, the...

littleVETTE -Nope, got it from a guy off of ebay. It had ended with no bids and we made a deal :D.
A long time ago I picked up an RC10T3 truck and then an RC10T3 Factory Team truck.
More recently as part of a purchase I picked up what I believe to be an RC10B3 Team car. Can you confirm this is correct please?
I want to...

more than likely with the scratches on the rear chassis plate and chassis and how clean that front blue chassis plate is someone placed a new plate on the front with the other parts. I'd say if I were to guess that yours was black chassis plates to...
I went a little crazy and decided to build a B3 FT car from scratch... piece by piece.... I'd hate to see how much I've invested so far, lol. It has been fun tracking down all the parts I need. There are only a few parts left to find. I decided to...

Being as though it's a factory team b3, I'd go with competition level electronics of the period. Not exactly sure when the FT came out, but I think you'd be good with an Lrp v7.1 or Quantum esc and Lrp phaser receiver combo.... with a Reedy Ti mod...
i found a few setup sheets for the b3. i'll be giving these to arn0 over at petitrc. if he makes any changes to any or puts them in pdf form i'll update this thread.

More information about the creation of these setup sheets.
The drawings were done in Micrographx Designer (before Adobe Illustrator was around).
The top B3 setup layout was created in Aldus PageMaker (before Adobe InDesign was around).
Here is a little story. Almost untrue but it really happened.
The other day I was searching through ebay looking for some parts to complete my RC10 fleet. Dont forget that I live in Germany and old parts are hard to come by. So I saw this NIB...

Finally I got the almost right ipc esc for my B3. Not period correct, but it gets it rolling. I found an old german Pro Formance P2 12 turn motor for it as well.
With all the love for blue builds going on around here lately, I figured I better start this one soon. I've been collecting parts for a little bit and while it's nowhere near as hard a process to locate these like some of the gold pan vintage stuff...

BUMPING this old thread. Unfortunately the pictures are all gone. I would love to see these pictures if the OP feels like sorting out the links. It's a long shot, but it sounds like a lot of great B3 option parts are in those photos.
As the title states, does anyone know a good choice of motor for an Associated B3 Factory Team car? It's a shelfer so I would like to search for an NOS motor, just wasn't sure what to search for. Looking for info on brands/models that were available...

My B3 has a Reedy Fury 12x2...I think. It's period correct aside from the fact that it appears they meant that motor for touring cars.
Basically looking to find out what this RC10T is and if it is worth putting money into for a resto. My dad and I built this in the early 90's and I was finally reunited with my first rc car ever, you know the one that started my addiction.

Ok so I should be good if running a vxl traxxas system, makes me happy I have a few of those laying around. When I get started doing the rebuild I will post up some photos and all that jazz.
