Nice, I had one of these Kyosho bags that I used for my school's R/C club back in the mid 90s. Everyone used to make fun of it as it looked like a pizza delivery bag. :mrgreen:

Hi

Is there anyone who knows what Kyosho model this is? It has the same gear-box and trailing arms as the Scorpion. The rear wheels are from a RSB, not original. And where i cud find a manual?

I have or had two in the box from 20 years ago. Think I gave $50 for both of them. one body got painted black. The other should be clear yet. I need to figure out where they got put when we moved. I know they didnt get tossed. Just not sure where...

I bought a T2 and the gears were lubricated with some black grease! How do I clean this up? Can I just use dish soap?

Home depot has one called ODORLESS SOLVENT. Sells by quart or gallon . It has a yellow colored label. Go to the paint section.

Ahem... I live in the Netherlands.... It's a long way to home depot :wink:

I picked this up a couple weeks ago. Still not sure on a direction, but I don't see anything crazy. Probably just a standard rebuild, but add bearings and maybe cvd's. Thinking it may become an off-road carpet racer to toy with over the winter, but...

Ok, so taking a break from attempting to polish a tub and decided to try cleaning up the Early CE I recently picked up. This car was very complete and in good shape. So far the only thing I've had to replace was one bent tie rod and a broken axle....

Often, on Kyoshos, the manual instructs to put a ring between the bearing holding the diff and the diff outdrives (I assume these are the ones that slide over the diff axles and attach with a set screw?). That might solve your issue.

Ok, i just rebuilt my 10T Team, Anybody know how to clean tires without messing them up? I'm trying to remove the whitish colored stuff, I'm guessing its oxidization? I have used a mild cleaner, kinda like a heavy duty dish soap lol.

Simple Green & water + scrub brush, then wipe them down with WD40. That's what we did for tires at the track for off road and dirt oval. Simple Green alone is a great tire softener and cleaner, too.

+1, this is what I still do today.

A freind at the lhs had a guy come in and whanted to sell this. this truck does not look like it was driven . It dose need some t.l.c. the srcews tie rods and dog bones have some rust, the shocks leaked and there is one scratch on the tub . 002.JPG...
