XLS body will not fit the Pro Cat chassis unless you cut it down.

Love this build up.

Very nice. I must finish mine off

One of the few jobs i hate doing when rebuilding cars is refurb'ing turnbuckles, especially if they're rusty..

Speaking of which, how does an enthusiastic person go about cleaning those standard schuey turnbuckles found on the Cougar, Procat etc...? They certainly don't respond well to polish. Maybe wet and dry sandpaper?

If they're just lightly tarnished i just go straight to the polishing tool on my dremel. If they're rusty i attack them first with the bristle tool (on the dremel again) to remove the rust, then i polish.

Thank you Paul. I just tried mine in the dremel with some 120 grit wet & dry with some sewing machine oil. The rods themselves come up really well but the little hex will require another method. I'll have to find myself a metal brush
