Ronbos Masami Hirosaka RC10B3

Post by Ronbo »

I got this really clean RC10B3 roller a few years ago and decided to try a Masami replica. This would be the box art car from 1997 that he TQ'd the Worlds with at Ranch Pit stop. This thread https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=40000 got me started as well as the MCI decals and other pictures that are available. With my crappy painting skills, I will need to find a painter to recreate a shelfer body. Thankfully Jconcepts is releasing the B3 body, so yay! So I decided to make this my runner tribute, and modernize it as well. I'll still need to take more pictures, but ive added electronics and modern hex rims/tires to run it in 40+modified. But now I have a B4.1/2 that will probably see most of the racing. I had a B2 mid to late 90s that a kid built for me to take to Reedy race. I stupidly sold it in the great purge in early 2000s, so Ill have some fun with this one this time out. More to come.

The car looks great! 8) The matching car stand is pretty cool as well.
I really enjoy driving the B2 and 3 - they're just great handling cars.

Thanks, since I have several to display, and the Jconcepts are pretty nice, Im going to use them as race and display stands. I did the cow scheme for the Cliff Lett RC10T over in the truck forum.
